How To Start Making Money On The Internet

When the internet was starting to take off, it brought an entirely new way of having your work done – whether that be working for someone else or creating something yourself. Although many people did start making extra cash doing this because there didn't really any alternatives at all, others started to realize they could do it much more easily with the help of platforms like Fiverr.

I recently heard about this platform that has gained popularity but has little information about what it's actually all about. So let me tell you some things right here that will open your eyes to what is actually involved with Fiverr.

So firstly, Fiverr is a place where you make money by linking up to various freelancers to do certain services on your behalf. Now before you get too excited over it, and think that I'm just trying to give more people jobs by telling them to use my link, no, I'm not! My hope is to have made thousands of dollars in one day through Fiverr by making sure these people are happy with their work and that everything is done correctly.

So lets look at each of the steps in detail, and then we'll see what you need to make sure everything is done properly.

Step 1: Sign Up For Your Profile

Fiverr is free to use so you don't need to pay to access as well as they say it is. This makes me a bit jealous because they seem to charge more than other companies, but what I mean by charging more is that you can earn extra money in a lot of ways. So why shouldn't you want to make extra money from Fiverr?

You can either make five dollars every time you post a service, which could save you lots of time if you're not very good at coding like myself, or can also be a little more, like $5 every time you try to find a specific topic and find an appropriate freelancer who will complete it for you and do the same thing for you instead. Either way the earnings are huge and can definitely help you out a lot.

So let me get to the details of how you should go about setting up your profile in no time...

First you'll want to create a username. You can always choose whatever you like, but make it short and memorable. A name that makes sense or even a nickname. Once you've created your username you can click'signup' and once done that your account is ready for use and ready to use.

For example:

Step 2: Choose Who to Create Work For

Once you've set up your profile then you can choose your desired clients to become a part of. There are two types of clients that you have available to create work for and these are Freelancers and Company Managers

You can make a list of the names of freelancers you want to collaborate with, as long as you make sure you provide them with your location if they live outside of USA. As long as you have contact details for them, they can reach you and get a quote back from you via email with your estimates if needed.

However, I would rather call out those types of clients because they won't get what you offer when it comes to quality and what you're able to offer. Instead of using this type of client for everyone, use it only for particular areas or categories. If you want to add work for children or animals, you can go ahead and make that for sure. No promises.

However you can leave some options open for the possibility of future collaboration. Like maybe you have another project on the brink of completion and need to keep working on it before they finish up. Or perhaps you want to have their logo created for your brand. They can come and discuss details over the phone, over the website, or even over the forums. It doesn't matter, you get the work done.

If you want to start working alone you can go ahead and start with a couple of ideas based around the one you want to work on. When you do have more work, there are different levels of contracts being applied. If you want to start working straight away, then that's fine, no contracts required.

You like to have multiple payment methods listed with you as well, so you'll want to choose wisely. Most online providers of services on Fiverr are looking into Payoneer or a similar provider if payments are going to come in to your bank account. However most companies, especially local ones, would prefer you to pay and that's okay to do. So no worries about choosing who does what and the rest of the details. There isn't much information so the only choice is yours.

If you want to make payments on Fiverr I'd recommend PayPal unless you're comfortable with a credit card. With Amazon, iTunes, Apple Store or Google Play, you can take advantage of using gift cards and even gift certificates from big retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, Target, or Walgreens to buy a product. In general I'd recommend a method to make your money in person. This isn't necessarily necessary or recommended but it is usually the best alternative.

Step 3: Post About Services

Once you've chosen your work and agreed to it, you have to post about the work that needs to be done and what it entails. So if you're going to provide security and safety as a chef, then the job description would look like this: "I will provide security and safety for guests at the restaurant." If you're thinking of selling your photography services or other services, you have to include a simple list of the hours, services and prices. Maybe you want to post just as a side income, so no details of how much work you're looking to complete, just the amount you put into it. Some people will do work for others so you might decide to focus on both sides.

The important thing to remember is to stick to the services you are offering. Whether it's for a small business or company, keep the price as low as possible. Showing your work is great, but don't lie. Let the buyer make contact, give them the information they need and make sure that you don't break their contract, otherwise, you're losing money. Don't post about stuff you aren't a expert in. And if someone goes to check it out, make sure you tell people who will.

Step 4: Respond To Comments

One of the easiest parts is responding to comments, either positive or negative. First, you can edit the negative comments and change the post in order to keep track of any negative feedback and respond to it appropriately. Then you have a quick answer for anyone that wants to reach out, if you feel like you will not reply, then you can respond to people directly with your message. For the positive replies, you just need to respond with some sort of thank you's, such as a thank you message.

Some companies like Facebook will ask you to follow them, which allows you to comment on their posts and respond to negative comments with the ability to either delete or tag somebody. Here's the code on my blog to get you started.
